I know, me too. They were dollar tree. I saw in another post that it took someone 15dpo to get a = on one of those. I heard some good things about others too.

Dollar tree for me. 12dpo...it was faint, I took another $store one the next morning, a little darker, and then on cd 15 it was dark

I was one of the 53% that get a bfp on a digital at 10dpo. I also got a bfp on a FREE at 10dpo. I saw something on a FRER at 9dpo but my DH said I was nuts.

YES! Mesha, you asked the million dollar question. I was just thinking about what test should I use. I'm going to go with the $store test though.

I took so many tests. I think I just liked wasting money on them! Here is my experience
10dpo:
Positive on CBE Digital
Negative on FRER, CBE early results, and Dollar Store
11dpo:
Very Very Very faint on FRER, Very Faint on CBE early results
12dpo:
the same
13dpo:
They both got darker
16dpo:
I finally saw a little something on a dollar store test.

You did buy a lot of tests. I used a lot too so I can't talk. I have yet to get that BFP, but I think I tested too early.

I confirmed my pregnancy in 2006 with ClearBlue Digital at 8 dpo. Tomorrow I will be 8 dpo, and though I have a number of cheapie internet hpts, I am thinking of purchasing a name brand hpt "as back up"

If AF doesn't start tonight I will be 11 dpo tomorrow morning.

I have 1 walgreens brand (came free with opks), 1 FRER (left over from a two pack a few months ago) and 8 CLE digitals (I won an auction on ebay).

But I'm scarred to test. I've been trying to wait until at least 10dpo. Now I'm too afraid to see the neg results.

FRER and Answer Early both gave me bfp's at 11 dpo, AFTER I got glaring positives on my Clear Blue OPK's! Yep, that's right, I got positive opk's before I used hpt's, since opk's are cheaper!

When you use an OPK as an HPT, what counts as a positive? I always have some kind of faint 2nd line, even though I will get a clear positive in an LH surge. To be pregnant, would I have to see a clear positive (ie. my line darker than the other line)? Or would trying this just not work for me because I always have some kind of line?
