Ammaarah thats funny. I dont know what her problem is. I also cant figure out what the heck is wrong with that link...
Then she is posting those crazy labs.....like that proves something. I was just surprised that it got so nasty over there and it has not been deleted yet. I wonder who she is?

It's there. The second one, I think - look at the number of replies underneath each entry. That's how I found it.
She's a nut. Her PCOS was "cured." She called every single doc in the phone book to educate them about PCOS. A nurse killed her mother. The "Board" (doesn't say which one) is writing a special report about her so all of our docs will know to tell us to eat less and exercise more (LOL!).
And her "medical records" just show high glucose and "A" cyst. Nothing about the other hormones now being "perfect" as she claims.
Just wacky. Wonder who she is???

I read it yesterday. She is a nut!! Just like a lot of the other ladies were saying....she acts like a know it all and belittles everyone else. She claims she was mad with her doctors, but it is like she is taking it out on everyone that has PCOS. I just had to laugh when I saw it. I'm surprised it has not been deleted either.

I do not agree at all with her and her so called claim. Many of us eat healthy and work our butts off to loose the wieght we're not fat cause we shove bigmacs into our mouths. I don't think she "had" PCOS at all.

Maybe it's just me but a lot of her responses, actions, and such kind of remind me of someone who is seeking attention. It doesn't matter from what source or what kind (positive or negative) but attention of some type.
I read every single post and it was painful. A lot of the bickering and negative attitudes that were posted could have been stopped if some the responders had stopped to "act" instead of "react".
I know several meant well and were trying to help put a more positive spin on things. I also realize they were trying make sure people who were new to the site would know what a great place SoulCysters is for support.
It's just that we all deal and process things differently... be it medical, physcial, sociological... we are unique individuals and none of us are perfect.
Also things posted via text messages may have a completely different meaning by the time they are read by someone else. Sometimes it's the frame of mind the typer is in at the time of the post and sometimes it is the frame of mind the reader has at the time of reading it.
Think before you post. Act. Don't react. What may seem like a harmless snappy comeback to you may seem like a grave insult to someone else.
As for Nicole's 100+ responses to her story... enough already. Let sleeping dogs lie or in this case let the posting die.
I challenge anyone who takes the time to read this to skip Nicole's story and find another story to read. One which actually inspires them and helps them see that there is more to life than PCOS. That story is the PCOS story which you should take the time to respond to.
Don't let PCOS define who you are.
All of us are more, MUCH more than just our common syndrome.
We are our actions, friends, family, strengths, weaknesses, sense of humor, and everything else. Those are the things which define you, me, all of us!
Ummm... okay didn't realize I had stepped on a soapbox there.

I read it like a week ago.I pm kat and told her about it then but I guess she hasnt had time to look at it yet.I think it should be deleted!
I just saw it yesterday, but I wasn't sure if I deleted it whether it would be on the old server or the new server. Now I'm just going to wait until we get on the 'new' new server...
...there's yet ANOTHER problem with the move...I'm on hold with Tech support now. (something about a 'plesk' panel out of whack...sigh...back to work.)
