Default What is Vitex?

Hello All!

Can someone please tell me what Vitex is & where can you get it?
Wondering if anyone else might have this...I have had these little sorta flat but stick up a little too, not sure what to call 'em..they look like dried up blisters, i can pick them off sometimes, got tons of them on my legs, some on back. I thought it was from my younger years of running thru mustard/dill weeds..have had them for years seems like im getting more & more lately. Went to a dermatologist, but he didnt seem to interested
Oh & while Im thinking of this...since im mostly bald..i also have follucilitis (sp?) like little zits on my scalp that infect the hair follicle & my hair falls out...derm didnt care about this either all he wanted to do was a whole body check for moles..told him i was in there for other skin probs, not moles, he got mad & left, that was the last time i saw him.

Im taking a pre-natal multi vitamin 1x a day, my dr said it couldnt hurt..maybe helpful (I pray) evening primrose & cinna-betic II..hear this is good for keeping glucose levels where they should be.

My husband & I joined a local T.O.P.S weight loss group in September Ive lost a total of 5 lbs. I have other health probs. too. This past summer Ive had a lymph node biopsy & lung biopsy & now when I exercise I wear a 8 lb tank in a backpack..guess if i were to keep walking in this horribly cold weather & lugging around another 8lbs i might be a little thinner by now. I also have to use o2 at night.

Ok I've blabbered too long,
Thanks in advance for any help!

Herbs for Fertility - Natural Fertility Enhancement

here's a link about vitex and some other fertility herbs that may be helpful.

the blister things you are describing sound like skin tags....i really don't have any, so i can't help you out much on that one. you could use the "SEARCH" tab at the top of the page and type in skin tags, i'm sure they'll be lots of info.

i'm sorry you are having so many health problems. it can't be any fun and PCOS just adds to the mix! you will find so much info here. i've learned so much about PCOS. I don't know what i would have done if i hadn't found this site!

Default Vitex

I don't know if you're trying to conceive, but if so it wouldn't hurt to try Vitex, it is working for me!! I bought 100 capsules (500mg) at GNC for $9.99. I take 1 cap. in the morning and 1 at night. I love it!! Good luck to you.
