Take your research First of all - good for you!!
Next, I would suggest you go through some of the research documents on this site and find the ones that mention YOUR specific symptoms in relation to PCOS. Then get the ones which give the best recommendations for the treatment for these symptoms. If you go in showing that you know what you are talking about and have done your homework, then your gp will find it more difficult to ignore you or just send you home with a prescription for a BCP!
