Default what is wrong with me?

I have been eating v healthy and organic and taking my herbal remedies that seems to be working every day, also lost over a stone and now 9stone, so I can't understand why I am still getting two periods a month, its so frustrating!

I went to the doctor and she said there was nothing she could do, to just keep doing what I have been doing, my fiance and I are planning a baby soon, but she wouldn't listen when I told her I need help finding out what to do next. I have tried changing doctors but it just the same each time. I don't know what to do next. Not only that my periods are black and very clotty when they arrive! its putting serious pressure on my life

Firstly, congratulations on losing that weight and for all the success you've had with everything so far! just thought - have u had your ferritin (iron storage protein) levels checked? that could be linked to why you're having problems with your periods?! i'm not really sure though - i found this artivle thru google- it might be of some use to u maybe?!:-)

Hi Mimi,

Have you asked to be refered to an endocronolgist and/or gynae at your local hospita. If not thats really your next step.

Your GP obviously doesn't know a lot about PCOS but a lot of GPs don'e, I'm fortunate I have a GP who specialised in Gynae.

Wow you have made some good improvements in your diet and good with the weight loss, it's a very positive start you have done so far!

I would perhaps ask for a refferral to the hospital!

Thumbs up Congratulations

Hi

Well done on your weight loss... I always find that when I lose weight I always bleed on a fortnightly basis my gynae could never find a reason why this was..

I'm sorry I can't be of more help, I always find it really frustrating as I go from one extreme to the other from not having any to..
