I highly recommend taking a long look at the vacuum to see if it's up to the hard work ahead. If not, go ahead and add that to the baby list.

It's a bottle they give you for rinsing after you go to the bathroom. Life saver, I'm telling you. | This is true for vaginal or csec, you will be thankful you took it!

We simply asked out discharge nurse for another than she gave us one. Saves you hauling the bottle around the house or getting in to the additional bathroom and realizing you forgot it.

My baby should be home in a week and i have all the things suggested (well mostly)...except for the bouncy chair. I am going to pick that up this week.

Rinse and then pat dry. This comes in especially handy if you tore or needed stitches. That way, you're not having to irritate the area every time you wipe.

We EBF for 2 months but when I trird to go back to work. My dd wouldn't use just any bottle we tried ervything, we finally figured out she would only take latex I guess because it felt more like skin, we ended up using the playtex drop-ins with laytex nipples.
Wipes ~ If you do end up needing sensitive wipes, walmarts brand parents choice makes unscented sensitive cloth wipes and they are a great deal.
Slings ~ If you can sew they are easy to nake I love mine and I have used it with DD from birth to nurse in public, and I still use it now, like when i get somewhere and she is asleep I can sometimes slip her into the sling without waking her and go on about my business: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. I also suggest the sleepers with the ability to cover the hands.

My Mood: Points: 1,892.81 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,892.81 | I wanted to add that a changing station and boppy were a lifesaver for me with DD. I have spinal fusion and have chronic back pain, usually in the middle/upper back and shoulders. Not having to bend over to change or feed were crucial. I know a lot of moms say changing stations are a pain, and boppies aren't necessary, but for anyone with chronic back pain, make use of these. I did make sure to get a station with a shelf to the side that I kept wipes and diapers at waist level so I didn't have to bend for even those.
HTH someone,
Andrea
