hello, im being investigated for pcos. sum of my hormones lvels suggest is lh:fsh.... 2:1????


doc put me on 5 days of provera (was 7...but serves depression on it...made me stop taking the last 2 pills)

i had a "period" today (2 days later) I havent had a period since bcp for year!!!!!

but its hardly anythink... it literally (sorry to put this) a smear of blood. and nothing since

what is everyone else like after provera>>>??? does it suddenly get heavier? xx

I take Provera every time I need to start a cycle because I never get it on my own and I have to take Provera for 10 days and then usually on the 3rd day after I start my cycle. But the answer to your question for me is that I have a normal period. It lasts 7 days and which I do bleed heavy but thats normal for me. Sorry I couldnt be of anymore help.

But I am on Day 7 of my first 10 day cycle of Provera so hopefully I can give you an answer soon. It is interesting to read other's experiences though!!

i took 10mg for 10 days, and mine was very light afterwards. but then, i was put on it to stop a very heavy bleed that had lasted 3 months prior...maybe nothing was left? i dunno.

i did 10mg for 10 days and it was HELLA heavy but i hadn't had one for 6 months.

Hey..I take 10mg for ten days..and I usually start bleeding the day after stopping..it is a normal bleed..not too light or too heavy..

I take 10mg provera for 10 days, I usually get my cycle about 7 days after I stop taking them and my cycle be SUPER HEAVY!! Thank goodness I am a housewife, because AF really takes over my life when she hits the town. My dr told my provera works differently for each person.

My first month on it, I had a heavy one.The second month it was extremely light, hardly a period. So now this month I have much cramping and back pain but very light light flow. So those of us with light Provera periods, is it possible we just didn't have much lining to shed?

I barely have one at all. 2 days of flow, and one day before and 1 after of spotting.

I take 5 days of 10mgs. Its barely anything! I was told that it wouldn't be much if the Clomid didn't do its thing.

I took Provera 10mg * 10 days. My period came 2 days after the 10th pill. The first day was spotting all day and then normal from the next day for the next 4.5 days.

I only had mild cramps the night before the spotting..
