Great lists. I'm curious, what do you do with the miso paste? I'm definitely going to look into the All Bran w/Extra Fiber.

Jashobeam, what whole wheat crackers do you get?

I can't add much to these lists. I see spinach above, I'd add that I like it raw, alone or in a salad mix. We love berries around here, can't wait until they're cheaper. I also like to have whipping cream on hand, and s/f Jello.

CoolWhip brand whipcream has sugar added. I was so dissappointed. Around Thanksgiving I saw a SF whipped cream in a can. It tasted pretty good! It was Land O Lakes No Sugar Added I think.

DH buys the whole wheat saltines at our local grocery store. I think it's Zesta brand. They also make multigrain which doesn't taste as good and isn't as healthy.

Thanks! I'll look for those crackers.

I actually usually buy whipping cream...it's liquid. You can whip it up with a sugar substitute and vanilla. I usually whip it with some s/f Jello, and then a couple of spoonfuls take care of my sweets craving. Add a little to diet root beer...mmm, black cow!

DH tried that once! He used homemade whip cream with Splenda as a cake topper. Wasn't bad!

I fell in love with Miso last year. It is basically a salty tasting fermented soybean paste that can be used for lots of stuff. Asian restauraunts sometimes serve Miso Soup. I use the paste to make a salad dressing and also use it to stir fry veggies (mmmmm). Miso is an extremely healthy food and although it tastes salty, it only has 700mg sodium per Tb, compared to a Tb of table salt (6800 mg sodium).

They actually trucked Miso into the surrounding areas after the Cherynoble disaster as it is proven to remove heavy metals from the body. The Japanese have been consuming it for ages and they have the longest life span on the planet. I try to eat a little every day.

That sounds interesting! I have to be in the mood for miso soup, but DH loves it. I'll have to see if I can find it around here.

Thanks for the info!
