When I was a teenager and started having troubles I used to bleed heavily for 6 weeks have one week off and then it would start again....now I have nothing at all . I've just been diagnosed so hopefully they can sort something out

When I was 14 I bled for an entire year before I told my mom! I think back on it now and I wonder why I was so scared to tell her. By the time I saw the doctor I was severely anemic and could barely make it through the day!

9 months once in 1994/95. Then I was on BCP for about 6 years. Now the most I have bled is about 2 weeks. But there are times where I might bleed for 2 weeks, stop for a week and then start all over again!

Not counting my natural miscariages, I bled for 3 weeks once. Really heavy for the first 2 (so heavy it would drip down my leg if I wasn't wearing anything and I had to change my overnight pads every 2 hours cause they were FULL-sorry if TMI) and then tapering off in the last week. I hadn't had a period in 1 year and my doctor gave me a progesterone challenge. I should have mentioned it to her when it was happening cause she freaked out when I told her afterwards.

The longest I bled was for a month. My doctor wrote me a 10 day prescription for progesterone. Well the pharmacist put 10 extra pills in there, and dummy me took all of them. I was bleeding heavy for a month. but since i was used to heavy long periods anyway it really didn't phase me. it was close to a month before i called my doctor and she said of course i was only suppose to take 10 and if it didn't stop in the next week to come in. it finally stopped, so now i make sure i read the instructions on the bottle thoroughly.

I was just on provera and had a 16 day period....Was really heavy almost the entire 16 days. I was soo weak by the time it finally slowed down. Then a week later I started bleeding again but thankfully it was only 6 days long.
