Smile Wheat flour suggestions.

If you are new to using Wheat flour, you might need to find out where your tastes are.
If you don't like the grainy texture of wheat, you might need to cut in another flour (such as bread flour, soy flour, or white flour) working with the ratio until you are happy with taste and texture.

A great place to go for recipes is: www.allrecipes.com.
You can put together a meal by typing in ingredients that you have on hand, plus you can type in keywords like low fat, low carb, high protein, etc.

I am fond of using wheat flour in homemade pasta, but that's just me.

Hope that helps.

Cheers!

Stone ground wheat flour is a whole lot better than white flour for your insulin and blood sugar levels. My DH made a cake out of almond flour which turned out good. You can buy whole oats and grind them at home into flour and use in recipes, also.

Here are a few recipes:

PB&J Granola bars

Whole wheat cookies

I like whole wheat in bread, pizza crust, and it's also yummy as a gravy thickener. I don't really care for it in most desserts. I tried it in chocolate chip cookies and it didn't taste disgusting or anything, but if I'm gonna splurge on cookies I want the real deal.
