Just wondering which dpo your RE's are testing you.

This time around I got mine at 12dpo but that's b/c I got a positive home preg test.. usually though, they don't test until you're at least one day past 14dpo.

I was to call and schedule an appointment 2 weeks after my iui’s if I hadn’t gotten my period, I only made it that far twice both times I had gotten my bfp a few day’s before

Good to know. Should I be taking a HPT before calling in to schedule a beta? May save money and time. On the other hand, going in for the Beta instead of doing a HPT will keep me from using a HPT to early. Thoughts?

usually women like to take an hpt before they call to schedule a beta b/c the first question the re will ask is.. did you get a positive pregnancy test? if yes then they schedule the beta. if not.. they will tell you to test first before coming in or that is what my dr tells me to do..

I wasn't seeing an RE, but I had a positive urine test and dh worked in the lab, so I got an instant blood draw and results in about 10 minutes. Gotta love that perk.

Great responses! Dr. told me to come in for a beta if my period was late - didn't mention anything about a HPT. I'll ask her next time we talk. Might be nice not to waste her time or mine if I only come in if there's a BFP.
