Default when did your nexy cycle start?

hi ladies i was just wondering how long it took for you to get your period after your loss. it has been about 37 days since my loss. the dr says i was really early on in the pregnancy. i was put on met and still nothing. im just so frustrated and sad. i think everyday how i could be so many days along but those days are now just how much further away i am from being pregnant again. i was ok in the begining but the last week it has been so hard. everyone i know has just had a baby and is pregnant. i just dont know why i cant be pregnant. it really isnt fair. thanks for listening and any advice on everyones cycles would help. the dr just tells me to wait another week and see what happens. they didnt seem to want to induce a period. would it hurt if they had too? thanks ladies. your all in my thoughts and prayers !

Hi Punk, I've just suffered my 3rd miscarriage and I know exactly how you are feeling. Was your loss natural, induced or D&C? I'm not sure if it makes a difference. After my first loss which was induced I got my period 45 days later. With my 2nd it was part natural and part D&C, my cycle started 39 days later. I have never been regular so I'm sure that has an affect. I also wasn't on met with the first but was with the 2nd. After your loss did they do an ultrasound to make sure all the tissue had cleared out? That was also a problem for me. This loss this weekend was also induced and I will go for an ultrasound this week to make sure it is all clear. I just pray I am blessed with another as I hope for you too.

Sherry

I am so sorry for your loss. It seems to have gotten harder with time for me as well. I got my period 28 days after my d&c. HTH

scjellybean/sherry... sorry for your loss as well. i had a natural mc. they said if i never took the pregnancy test and went for the betas i might night have ever known i was pregnant. thats how early i was with the loss. i had went for a internal sono to see if they could see anything when i found out iwas preg but they didnt see anything at all then the next day the mc started. they saw me a week after that and he just did a regular check, felt around inside and pushed on my stomach. they didnt do another sono i guess cause he said the baby didnt implant or anything. its now been 40 days since the mc and still no sign of af. i also wasnt having normal periods. the clomid helped with my longest cycle 37days. but now im just on met. im thinking of call the dr again this week and seeing if they will induce the period. what do you think? i also have the crazy hope that i am pregnant. but i havent had any prg symptoms so i havent even bothered testing. i hope everything works out well for you and you feel better soon.

I think if you are worried about your cycle you should absolutely go back to your doctor and ask for something to be done. Also if you think there is a chance you could be pregnant again then do a hometest what could it hurt? I know how anxiety ridden it can be waiting for AF so that you are able to TTC again, I've been going through that for the last 2 years. Keep up the hope!

I am sorry for your loss. I lost Maya-Ruth on 9/10 and am starting my first period today but it isn't heavy--just a lot of TMI dark stringy stuff--not the bright red that is usually associated with it. I am to start Met and Yasmin next week...

no i havent talked with the dr yet. i had called about a week and a half ago and they told me to give it another 2 weeks to call back. so im going to call them monday and see what they can do for me. im going to take a prg test over the weekend even though i know its unlikely. so ill let you know what the dr tells me on monday. hoping they can start my period. do you think i should ask them to start back on the clomid? im on met and it doesnt seem to be working. thanks again for the support

I've never used Clomid so I can't really comment on that for you, but it doesn't hurt to ask them right?

I had my miscarriage induced this past weekend...what a process...4 days to pass both the sacs (I had possible twins). Now i'm just spotting but hopefully it won't take to long for my body to get back in sync. I'm just anxious to be able to TTC again.

hi punk: I hope your dr. can get things going for you soon so that you are able to get back on the road to ttc!

As for me...looks like it will be a few months before I can try again. Because this was my 3rd consecutive m/c they want to send me for some more testing, but that won't happen until the beginning of Jan. I just pray that whatever they find is treatable. My biggest fear is that they tell me I won't be able to carry a baby. But positive thoughts, right!

Keep me updated on your progress. You can also feel free to pm me.
