I just started 500mg of glucophage on Monday night. On Tuesday, I felt very hungry at various points throughout the day. I ate as much as I usually do and then added a little more. Before dinner though I felt almost shaky from the hunger.

I've had no other side effects other than hunger.

Did nausea and diarrhea start after a few weeks on gluc for everyone?

Mine started within a few hours of taking the first pill.

I have never had nausea, but i did start getting intestinal cramping and diarrea, but it didn't start until about 5-7 days after I started taking metformin.
