Question When did your symptoms appear???

Hello again. Could anyone tell me when their symptoms started after beginning Met? I started on 1500mg a day and today is my third day. I didn't notice anything different until today though...aside from being kind of weak and tired. Today I have had like a metalic taste in my mouth and my tummy feels a little bloated. I also started Provera at the same time as the Met, so either could be attributed to these problems. I have not had any intestinal problems yet...THANK GOODNESS! I feel sorry for all who do though. I have also been in a down mood for no appearant reason. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks in advance for the help.

Theresa

I started on 2X850mg a day last week. First day I had stomach upset, and had to run to the toilet twice, since then no stomach problem. I also felt really bloated first 3 days. I did feel quite depressed days 3 & 4, and also extremely exhausted. Now the bloatedness is much better. Don't feel moody or depressed like I did days 3 &4. Never suffered from sickness, or vomiting. I am not as exhausted as I was at the beginning.Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Hello!

For me, I had stomach upset almost immediately after starting 500mg of Met. It started with severe stomach cramping, the kind you get with really bad diarreah. Then it became the worst gas I've ever had, not to mention SMELLY! Phewy! LOL I did get diarreah, but it only last 4 days (1 to 2 times a day).

On the 3rd day I started 1000mg and I'm now up to 1500mg for 3 months. I usually don't get stomach upset unless I eat very greasey foods.

The bloatedness you feel could be from Provera. I always get bloated when I take it, until I bleed, then it's a huge relief.

As for your depression, it could also be from the Provera because it's a hormone. I used to get b*tchy on Provera, but in Finland they give me something different and it turns me into a nympho! LOL

But hopefully you will cycle soon and all that will be behind you. Also, you may feel better once your hormones get more regulated with Met. I know I feel great!

Take care!

Bee
