Default When in my cycle should I begin Met?

My doctor gave me a prescription for 750mg glucophage... the extended release version. She also gave me a prescription for Femara to be taken on cycle days 3-7. Right now I am about 6 days away from AF. If I start taking Met right away, will it mess with my cycle? Any reason to think I should wait until the beginning of my cycle to begin it? I'm just wondering if any of you began at a specific point in your cycle or if you just started it as soon as you got it.

As far as I know you can start taking the Met as soon as you get it. There aren't specific days for it, as with the Femara or Clomid.

I'd start tomorrow. The sooner the better! =)

I agree with zoerba.. the sooner the better! Met is not likely to create any problems with your cycle. All the best!

Start right now, the two are not linked in terms of s/e. I do not know the XR but take it with your meal to avaid any potential s/e. it may last 2/3 days the time for your body to get adjusted.
