Default When to pursue PCOS in young daughter?

I suspect that my 6yo has elevated glucose levels just like me (mine run around 110 when not on Met). Should I do anything about it now or just watch her sugar intake and pursue it more when she reaches puberty and begins menstruating?

I would pursue it now. It may be something that can be controlled by diet now. She's only 6 and if you wait until puberty, then you'll probably worry yourself sick about it until then.

I told my dd's pediatrician about my PCOS and we are watching for any warning signs. She has regular periods and no visable symptoms for now. I watch her sugar intake like you are doing and make sure she balances carbs with protein. She is active and not overweight, so that helps too. There are some good research articles on PCOS in children on this site that will answer a lot of your questions and put you at ease. It's good that you are concerned about your dd's future health.
