When To Start Trying

I was finally diagnosed with PCOS this March and DH and I have been back and forth with when we wanted to TTC. I stopped taking BCP and we've just been not worrying about it, but today I was thinking about it again. When should we start really trying to conceive? I'm only 20 and we wanted to wait till we were 25 until we started trying, but with this news it has really made me wonder, when?

Any personal stories would be great to help us really hunker down to it or wait. I think it's just second thoughts for us.

I'm just really scared that when we decide to have kids, we won't be able to.

I haven't ovulated on my own in 8 months and we know this from charting. My cycles are currently 85 days long and brought on with Progesterone.

Any advice would help. Thanks!

I got married in 2001 at 23 years old. Was diagnosed finally with pcos shortly thereafter. I have been trying to get pregnant ever since and did last year and again this year. I encourage couples with issues to start as soon as possible based on my experience, just because it can take so long. However, there are also the stories where it doesn't take that long.
