Default When to take all this stuff?!

I've decided to start on DCI, Cinnamon, and Fish Oil.

I know I'm supposed to take the DCI in the morning.

I plan on taking 3-4 capsules of the cinnamon... should I take it all at once or 1 cap 3-4 times a day?

Same with the fish oil... I'm going to be taking 4 a day.... 4 at once or 2 twice a day or 1 4xday?

What do you ladies do?

Altho I'm not taking what you're taking, ... my alternative regimen has been twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening.

I would take the cinnamon 2 caps twice a day with meals.

The dci take it all at once on an empty stomach in the morning

The fish oil I take with supper 4 gelcaps all at once.

The vitamin D and multivitamin I take all at once with the first meal of the day usually.

Not counting the time I take DCI, My supplements are usually twice a day with meals. The magnesium I take just before going to sleep

I wasnt sure if you were talking to Cindy or me. I usually buy my herbs from Vitacost.com, or iherb.com

The DCI is from Chiralbalance.com

I got everythng but the DCI from iherbs.com. The DCI is from Chiral Balance.

Herbsgirl: I pretty much got the supplements you recommended in a thread a while ago about the right combo. NOW Cinnamon, Country Life Omega for mood, DCI, and the Special Two multivitamin. Plus the vitamin D and magnesium I already had.

Quick question... do you take an additional B-Complex with your Special Two? The Special Two looks like it has the same amounts my B-Complex does...

Cindy-

That is great you're trying those supplements! I hope they work wonderfully for you.

You can take more B complex with your Special two vitamins if you want too. I plan on taking an extra B complex 100 tablet in addition to the Special two after I ovulate, during the Luteal phase to lengthen my LP, scince it has been on the short side!

It would be fine to take the B complex in addition to the Special two's, the whole cycle/all the time, if you want to. Your body just pees out the extra.

Thanks for all your help. I hope this works for me. I plan on taking all this for a few months BEFORE I go off my BCPs to TTC. I was SO miserable last time because my PCOS was in full force and undiagnosed. After being off BCPs for 5 months I went to the Dr because I hadn't had a period and I was miserable. She ran a slew of blood tests, did an ultra sound, and confirmed our suspicion that I had PCOS. I went back on BCPs at that point because I was so miserable. I have 2 months left of my pack (Seasonale- 4 periods a year), then I'll stop.

I was asking about the B-vitamins because I try to take a lot of them for mood issues. I have moderate depression and have been unmedicated for almost a year. Hopefully the Bs + the Omega 3 will help!

I'm starting all this probably tomorrow (Wednesday) because I have a job interview today and I don't want to take a bunch of stuff in the morning not knowing what it will do.

Hope the Omegas and B-vites work well. I am off of Zoloft because of the Omega 3 mood (I take 4) and my other supplements. When I was on the depression meds, I felt numb or something!

I was on Cymbalta and I felt ok... but if I was late taking it or missed a dose, I was so nauseated and headachey... I was really physically dependent on it. Now that I went through the misery of weaning off, I don't want to go back on unless I really really have to.
