Am feeling really depressed and crappy today. It is six months to the day that i lost my best friend to ovarian cancer. I have been up all night because I have a huge bloody cyst on my ovaries and it hurts (why do drs always insist that cysts dont cause pain?) and just dont think i can face gonig to work today. I miss my friend so much, am sick of this bloody illness and just generally feel blah. Usually I am a pretty upbeat person but it just doesn't seem to be happening today. Oh well, tomorrow is another one.

I am very sorry for your loss. I can relate to you as I lost my mother 2 yrs ago to breast cancer/diabetic complications. It still hurts a lot. You are really at the starting stage of healing process. If you don't address your feelings of loss & anger you may become a victim of depression like me too. Depression meds brought out the diabetes in me and I am not the person who used to be. I am surprised that your dr does not think that the cysts hurts.
Take one a day at a time, get plenty of exercise & rest. Keep the faith that will keep you going. Hope you will feel better soon!
