I'm debating whether or not to do my normal hair removal routine before seeing a gyn for the first time on Friday. I have previously been diagnosed with PCOS but havent been treated in years and am hoping to get back on track with this new gyn. Part of me feels like I should leave all the chest/stomach/facial hair so she can see how bad it is, but I'm not too jazzed about letting someone see me like that. What did you do when you first visited your doctor?

Maybe leaving it would explain without doc having to imagine? You could always do much better for next appt? I dunno, I recently tried to explain to a doc the hair after I had naired... didn't get any understanding or sympathy really, then I was able to show not too long after, and message was received. But I mean shouldn't we just all try to be comfortable everyday we can anyhow? tough call.
