So I work in a small office room with 5 guys in cubes. I told them all (we are close friends), since I have no cell phone and use my office phone to take phone calls from my doc.
And of course, family. But I haven't told other friends etc.
I'm just 8 weeks. I think we waited until 8 weeks last time...
I'm anxious to put the widget on my facebook LOL

We found out around 4 weeks....and told some friends and most of our families the following week. After our first ultrasound at 7w 4d was wonderful...heard the heartbeat and saw the baby, we started telling everyone. I put the sono picture on facebook and let people figure it out themselves. And I'm totally against the belief that telling too soon causes a miscarriage. So that's why it felt right for us to tell people.
When it feels right for you is the right time for you to tell.

Had to blood PG test done at 5w and told some family, but once my nephew knew(DH just had to tell him) we had to go ahead and tell everyone else lol! which was around 6w, some people still don't know but they aren't anyone that we really like and they'll find out eventually lol

We have chosen not to tell the world via Facebook or anything like that and are only telling family and close friends when we do decide to share the news (much further along). It's not that we think telling people will cause a miscarriage but it is very we found it very hard to have to tell everyone when we lost our last little one at 15 weeks and I had people asking me months later about how my pregnancy was going (over Facebook).

omg...lol. You guys are PATIENT!!! I found out at like...right at 2 weeks and immediately called all of my family and best friends! lol. Would have DIED not being able to tell them for any longer! lol.

We have an ultrasound tomorrow and are going to tell our parents after that. They will probably tell everyone they know within a few days! I will probably tell my manager after that too, but will wait to tell everyone at work. I work in an environment where having a family means you no longer want a career, so we will see how the information is received. It has been so hard to not tell anyone yet!
I had to tell my boss asap as I am high risk and have multiple appts due to having lupus.
We told family after seeing the heartbeat. We didn't tell friend until our 12 wk scan. Other people we don't talk to very often only notice my growing belly and then ask. But you have to be real comfortable about who you tell.

I was trying to wait until the 2nd trimester to tell ppl. But, I told my mom when I found out at about 4w 2d. She proceeded to tell my grandma, who cannot keep her mouth shut.
My husband who cannot keep a secret to save his life announced on facebook heartbeat confirmed. it just worries me because our first pg ended in a m/c and it was hard telling ppl afterwards and it was hard facing those ppl. It's something I don't want to deal with again and hopefully won't have to. But I really didn't want this many ppl knowing so soon! i'm only 7 weeks now and yeah i'm just scared if it happens again, we'll have to tell everyone again.....

We told our immediate family at 4 weeks. Pretty much right after we knew. This is our first pregnancy so we had to tell someone. We made them promise not to tell anyone until we say its okay. I have an u/s at 7 weeks. So we will see how its going. But i plan on waiting til im at least 12 weeks.
I dont believe it causes miscarriage, i just dont want to hear people asking about it and having to tell the story over and over again that we lost it.

I told my mom & step dad the day I got the positive pregnancy test, and told my friends the next day. I waited until after my checkup and bloodwork and then told my coworkers. I was just too excited to keep it in! I guess I would have been about 4 weeks along. I didn't post anything on Facebook till 12 weeks though, just to keep more distant friends out of the loop just in case.
