I know that kinda sounds like a stupid question but I mean it. I know I posted on this board a few times before. I am the one who never goes to church and doesn't fit into any one specific religion. I identify the most with Wicca.

Lately, I have felt really lost. I haven't been researching on Wicca at all lately cause I have been so busy with work and my new puppy. I am still very interested which is why that I am doing all this research. But I feel really alone for some reason right now. I know there is a God but I sometimes wonder if he cares about me. So many bad things have been happening lately and I just wonder why. I dont think that I did anything to bring it on. I know it could be a lot worse but it still bothers me.

I havent prayed much lately and I kinda miss it.

Any words of advice?

Yes he does love you! I know it is hard to believe with all the horrible stuff going on. God has confidence in you that you can endure. I take this into consideration everytime I think I can't take it anymore. I also look at what I have gone through as expereince. That way I can be there for some one else that needs support and encouragement! Some times (well a lot lately) I live from moment to moment. I trust that God has a purpose/reason for why things are the way they are. The Bible says that soon he will intervene and take away all of the suffering. He did it in the past for those who trust him and he will do it again. Remember your prayers do not have to fancy, talk to God like he is your best friend, that is what he wants. He is waiting to hear from you! He knows what you need but he wants you to acknowledge and take steps toward it. Then he will draw closer. Ok I will get off my soap box. If you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. I will check in with you tomorrow and see how you are doing!

Okay, I've read this a couple times trying to find an answer which will help you the most. I think for the most part since you are interested in Wicca continue to research it and find the path within Wicca which will work with your personal faith path.

Being busy with work, life, a new puppy, and whatever other curve balls are thrown at you is rough and it DOES make you question things. If there are a lot of bad things find some one you can talk with... either a mentor, friend, professional.

If you haven't prayed or meditated lately set aside some time to do so. It doesn't matter how long or in what way. Just a simple lighting of a candle saying something along the lines of "Help me find a way to...." or something like that will be carried to what ever Higher Being you choose.

Finding Faith is hard... it is a difficult path and some times your God or Goddess may place challenges in front of you, but S/He knows you can overcome those challenges. It may take time and it may seem like you are alone but you aren't as long as you remember you have a Guide.

If you discover that Wicca still has an appeal, but it isn't working with your faith don't be discouraged. If nothing else you have enriched yourself through learning things along that path and it may lead you to the Faith Path you are to follow.
