BCP 1996-97 (made me unbearable)
Sx: annovulation 3 years after BCP then v. irregular AF, overweight, mildly bad skin, mildly hairy, skin tags, dark patches
Took herbal prescription containing Vitex, also Multivitamin and Mineral, Chromium, B-Complex, Co-Enzyme Q10, Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc, Evening Primrose Oil and Folic Acid (just in case!) - AFs became regular at 35 days - IT WORKED!!! DS born 26th February 2004
I wonder if the poll reflects the real percentage of PCOS sufferers in the UK and if so, is this also a reflection of the obesity problem in the UK? did that come out right?
What I mean is, the amount of obese people in the West of Scotland is enormous - this means both sexes, but I wonder if the reason that the amount of PCOS sufferers in the West of Scotland is very high might be linked to the high obesity rate.
I suppose that this is the type of thing that researchers look into all the time. They must look for links and reasons for all these 'new' illnesses.

Like gypsy I too am in Ireland County Limerick where the band the Cranberries are from.
Richard Harris and Terry Wogan are from Limerick as well. And I missed Russell Crowe when he came to Limerick he wanted to visit the favourite pub of Richard Harris and the lady working behind the bar didnt recognise him! lol
Anyway Limerick is known as the Treaty City and is on the River Shannon.
