Hey everybody- I know there are various threads about Insulite, but I wanted to start one specifically for the girls taking Insulite. I LOVE this stuff! I had ordered it over six months ago and never started it. So I finally started last week at half the normal dose (just to get adjusted to it), and I feel great! I am normally so tired and lazy, but since this stuff I have felt wonderful. I am eating better and exercising, too. And I started my period today. I have also lost three pounds since last week. Please let me know your progress. |

My Mood: Points: 404.65 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 404.65 | I started insulite 3 weeks ago & I feel so much better. I am in a better mood & I'm not hungry all the time. I haven't started my period yet, but since I normally don't have one unless induced it may take a while. I have lost 3 pounds & do have more energy. I love this stuff too!!! I am taking the full dose & all the pills don't bother me at all. I just ordered more last night. I also noticed I'm not sleeping as much & sleep better.
Thanks for starting this thread!!

Of course, I still have to get up to pee twice during the night, but other than that sleep has been great. I haven't felt the need to sleep 12 - 16 hours a day! |

I have been researching it and thinking about it for a few months and am ready to try it. I've gained about 15lbs this year -- mostly from stress eating -- but now the stress is gone and the weight isn't! I'm tired, unmotivated, and way too heavy. I just want something that will help me feel better. Please let me know how it has worked for you!
Thanks! |

My Mood: Points: 9,097.28 Bank: 60,617.49 Total Points: 69,714.77 | Nashville- I am pre-diabetic but since taking this stuff my blood sugar has been great. My fasting has been around 76-80. And my 1-hour level after eating carbs has stayed under 120. I know I was about to be diagnosed diabetic as soon as I took the 3-hour glucose tolerance test for the doctor, but I kept putting it off because I wanted to try to control it myself. I did my own (make-shift) test at home (before Insulite) and my sugar went over 200! But since taking Insulite it has been great. I watch what I eat, 95% of the time, too. But last night we had Chinese so I was dreading checking my sugar, but it was only 106 an hour later!
Anyway, I could easily sleep 14 hours a day. But now I average about 9, and I sleep soundly. I just feel so much better. It is hard remembering all of the pills, but I'm getting used to it. I don't know if this stuff will work for you or not, but I love it! I took metformin a few years ago and I hated it. It made me so sick to my stomach and I never noticed any more energy. Of course, I only took it for two months so maybe it didn't have enough time. And some of the cysters swear by it, so I don't know.

I just started taking it last week, although I haven't been taking the GlucX (6 caps between meals).
I would love to hear how this is working for others too.
I am also easing my way into the South Beach Diet.

My Mood: Points: 8,805.57 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 8,805.57 | I have been consistently taking the Insulite for a little over a week now. The only thing I am NOT consistent at is taking the 12 caps of GlucX per day. I would love to keep tabs on how everyone is doing.

My Mood: Points: 9,097.28 Bank: 60,617.49 Total Points: 69,714.77 | I just started a couple of weeks ago, but I already have gotten my period and lost a few pounds. But the most amazing thing has been my blood sugar. I ate like crap this past week-end but the highest my blood sugar went was 106! Yesterday, an hour after eating it was only 72! And I had potato chips and a hamburger bun! But now I'm worried it is too low. I mean I felt fine, but shouldn't it normally go higher? Today I checked it after eating chips and crackers- pure carbs, no fat or protein with it- and it only went up to 94. Any other time it would have went anywhere from 160 - 200. I guess this is a good thing. Oh, and I am only taking half the recommended dosage.

Points: 383.68 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 383.68 | I'm glad that so many people are posting about this now. I haven't had my sugar checked in quite a while. It used to be consistently around 90 which the nurse told me was low to average. I want to eventually ttc, and am not doing anything to prevent it right now. I'm just really tired of having to buy plus sized clothes. I may try insulite. Its great to hear that some of you are having good results from it! |

Points: 1,725.72 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,725.72 | I have an entire unopened box of Insulite. The only reason I stopped taking it is because of financial reasons, not because it didn't work. I would like to sell it for a little less than the Insulite price, if anyone is interested. |

I have been taking it for close to 2 weeks now and have had frequent headaches this last week.
Just curious.
