Hey everyone.

I wanted to share something I did to help with carrying all of the pills you need to take throughout the day.

I had back surgery twice and needed to give up my big huge purse for a little clutch.

In the market, in the cake isle, with the cake decorations. cake mate puts out scooby-doo sprinkles. The canister is divided into 4 compartments and is perfect for carrying the pills.

The regular colored sprinkles have 6 compartments and the top hole is to small for the pills to come out.

I hope this helps.

Rebecca

Hi girls! I just ordered my first supply of insulite and I'm anxious to get it in the mail. I do have a question though--if you all are getting periods does that mean you are ovulating on insulite? Is there a good chance you can get pregnant on this stuff? Should I also take the Pill while taking insulite since I'm not ttc at the moment? I haven't ovulated on my own in years so I didn't think it would be the miracle stuff that would make me pregnant, but still, I gotta ask. lol

If Insulite lowers your insulin then technically, yes, you could get pregnant. I was thinking about that yesterday, that maybe I should go back on the pill just in case. Not TTC right now, neither. Anyway, some pcos-ers have gotten pregnant when their insulin was lowered by Met or even low-carbing, some haven't.

Default How many pills?

Hey, ladies! This thread is really really interesting to me right now, I'm giving Insulite some serious thought. Can anyone tell me exactly how many pills you take each day on the program and at what intervals? I'm a bad pill-taker - (I tend to gag even on a tiny bcp!) so that does make me think twice but I'm hopeful I could psych myself up if I had to. Thanks in advance!

I was thinking of ordering this. Even made a post about it. (I was lazy and didn't look if anyone else posted about it though) Today I looked up and saw this thread. Thanks so much to everyone who shares what it has done for them.

My only question is.. what someone brought up on my thread. It's not FDA approved... so is it possible it's not safe? Or is it all just herbs? I am 20.. and just found out about this stuff. I want to feel better. I hate feeling 80 yrs old. So... I kind of hope this is something to get or not. PM me or something about this possibly?.... please...
thanks

Hey Ladies,
I started taking Insulite...About five months ago. Not reg. mind you. It is very hard to remember to take all the pills...Or even when you remember to want to!

But, my hair has gotten thicker (I had gotten to where I always wore it up to cover up the balding! Now I wear it down and it has grown from shoulder length to my bra line). I am not lethargic like I used to be, and I have lost 28 lbs...With cutting grains out of my diet as well.

I think it's working...You know how it is though, you aren't sure if it's that, or something else...How much of it is just you hoping. But I really think it is better.

Gailwore - insulite is capsules and you take 24 a day. It's alot and it is hard to get use to it.

Ange - all of the ingredents are natural. Thats why it is so great to have message boards like this. You can ask actual people how it is working for them. The insulite website has testimonials and they do claim it is a "cure". So it's a matter of figureing out what works best for you. I have not heard of any "side effects" from insulite but I know alot of women that had side effects from taking metformin and that is FDA approved.

Good Luck,
Rebecca

Red face giving insulite a try now.

Hi, my name is Siayae, and I just started insulite Yesterday. I dropped my birthcontrol pill Yasmin to start the program. I was getting wierd symptoms with yasmin anyhow like heart palpatations and racing heart beat. I belive it was messing with my potassium levels and effecting my heart. I was on it for 4 years before I had those effects. Before that it would just make me oily and clear up my big cyst like zits. I saw no facial fuzz improvements from it though. So now here I am needing something to replace the bcp and I read and am trying the insulite. So far no ill feelings except a liitle stomach burrning sensation like Ive eaten hot sauce or something spicy, not extreme though. I hope it will help aleviate my symptoms some, the acne and hair and weight. Praise God for this pcos site and the people here. I felt all alone before reading all your posts.

Hi, everyone!

I have found about Insulite programe some time ago and have ordered it 3 weeks ago. Haven't received it so far, I've sent a few emails to the Insulite Labs, but no reply so far.

I put lots of hope in this programe so I just need some encouragement. Is this product really out there? How long did it take you to receive it? I am from Europe.

Thank you a lot.

Hi Girls, I've been reading here for a while but never really posted. I have 2 months of insulite that I am looking to sell in their original shipped sealed box and bottles.

I am going through a divorce right now and can't afford to continue the program. I am looking to see if anyone is interested in buying either one or both. I am looking for $95 for each month.

You can email me direct at xanadu627@aol with any questions. I wish you all great success with insulite. It really is great. My only hope is that insurance would cover it. One day soon hopefully. Have a great day!!!

Default Started Insulite

Hello ladies.. Me again...

I received my shipment of Insulite early this morning...

Day 1

I am trying to take all the supps as directed. I guess it's not sooo hard, just takes a while to get used to as you have to take them all at specific times. So many pills!!... on a side note - I wish they would include a more informative nutrition plan - for what we're paying... They could go into a little more detail sheesh... that booklet is so flimsy... (odd since the main culprit for PCOS is unhealthy diet which starts the whole snowball effect.. you would think they would emphasize this part with more information), anyone else feel like this?? sorry just ranting... lol

Personally, the hardest part for me is probably going to be eating so many small meals, spaced out in the day. I usually don't have time for breakfast, and I am probably the worst meal skipper there ever was because it's hard for me to find time in the day to just stop and eat something healthy when vending machine snacks are so conveniently placed... then I make up for all the meals I've lost in the day by combining them all, and then some, into a big (late in the evening, no less) dinner , or a huge binge when the day starts to wind down ... Because I'm so starved at that point... Such a bad habit I know! This is going to take some getting used to... my body will just have to start adapting!!... tough love is what I need lol... I will just keep at it I guess... Old habits are hard to break...

Since Insulite doesn't come with a very detailed nutrition plan and I am horrible at counting grams, calories and keeping track of what I eat.... I am stuck in this dept... I always have been... that's why I eat the way I do, and that's why I have the health issues I have... I guess I will just try to make better eating choices... space my meals out every 3 hrs or so.... try to eat proteins w/ carbs & healthy fats... keep it unrefined as much as possible... I've been winging it all day, trying to keep it healthy and small but frequent..

Does anyone else on the Insulite program feel this way? and what are you doing? Are you doing Insulite supps with another low-carb diet, maybe IR diet, south beach, weight watchers? Just wondering...

I have about 90 lbs to shed (seems like not so long ago it was only 20!!)... and I'm recently engaged (talk about pressure!!)... So that gives me about a year and a half to try to look as close to female as possible... I just have this frightful vision of a big white snowball rolling down the aisle in a poofy white gown... a beautiful balding, zitty, oily, flabby, hairy, mess of a bride if I do say so myself.... Oh, the horrified look on the guests faces.!!.. Ugh!!... Sorry for the image.. just having one of those '%@#^ PCOS' days lol

I have a friend who had success with WW when she needed to slim down for her wedding.. She lost about 50 lbs - she looked amazing... (she didn't have pcos)... I think I might do WW + Insulite supps... and see how that goes... + increase the activity level...

PS. I was also wondering, to any ladies who have emailed Insulite website, how soon do they respond? Does it take a while?

Sorry for the long post.... Thanks for all your invaluable info...
