Although the moodswings are less now - they are still there for me. I got so sad a few weeks ago - felt like I had let hubby down, let my family down and most of all, sad because my dad passed away before having a grand child from me. Thinking of you - good news is, tomorrow is a new day and will be better.

My Mood: Points: 1,289.39 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,289.39 | n00b ^.^ Hello, I just registered on the forum. I've been a lurker of this thread for the last few days.
I couldn't sleep one night because I was so frustrated with being 23 and having such high blood pressure because of my PCOS. I went searching online and found Insulite. It seemed so interesting... so I went online and did some research.
This forum was the most active when it came to this topic, though I did find a few other PCOS forums that mentioned it. So I decided to read the whole thread, all 28 (at the time) pages of it. I've been keeping up every day and seeing what others say about it.
I keep reading about people who are taking these pills to regulate themselves so they can have a baby. This point in time, my husband and I aren't ready for a kid. I always thought I had double protection, with PCOS and birth control, I wouldn't be getting pregnant. Would it be alright for my body to still be on Birth Control if I started taking these insulite pills?
I also have Celiac's Disease and emailed them about their diet plan and pills to make sure it was gluten free. The pills are fine, and she said the diet plan doesn't include tons of whole grain recipes. Anyone who has gotten the diet plan book mind telling me if that's true?
Thanks! |

My Mood: Points: 307.77 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 307.77 | So I started my insulite 3 days ago and so far the only things I have noticed are the headaches, usually in the afternoon or middle of the night, diarrhea and heartburn.....still no energy, still not sleeping good at night....
I will keep trucking along cause I know sometimes it can take a month or more before you see a difference. In the meantime I am trying to improve my diet and my exercise.... |

Don't worry I had the headaches and lack of energy the first few days also and I was kind of upset because so many people said they noticed all these changes and I expected them to happen right away. I think it was around days 5-7 that the headaches completely stopped and I noticed the change in my energy levels. |

My Mood: Points: 526.11 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 526.11 | Hi everyone! ~ I thought I'd drop in for my monthly hello. I wanted to update everyone on how I've been doing. It has been 6 months since I've been off insulite, but like I said before, as soon as I can get back on it, I will. I am proud to say that I am 25 weeks pregnant today with a healthy baby boy, and am anxiously awaiting his arrival on October 25th. I am sure that this program, with the lifestyle change, and of course God, helped me get to where I am today. Since I have been pregnant, I have noticed my unwanted hair growth has gone crazy, but that seems to be the only thing that has changed. I have only gained 9 lbs. I would encourage all of those who are TTC to make sure you are taking a prescription prenatal vitamin. (I recommend Precare Premier) I know that is yet another pill on top of alot of pills already, but if you do happen to get pregnant, you will already be getting the necessary intake of folic acid, among other nutrients. Lampchop ~ please don't get so discouraged, or give up hope that easy. DH and I were going through the whole fertility treatment (IUI w/clomid & gonadotropins) and we figured that is what would work. I had an ectopic from that experience. I was told I had to wait until the end of January before going back to try again. In the meantime, I found and ordered 2 months of Insulite in mid-November. I took it for the entire 2 months, and loved the results. Since Christmas had just passed and I didn't have a whole lot of extra money, I figured I would order my new batch when my income tax money came in. DH and I decided to wait until June before going back to the fertility specialist since I am a school teacher and I didn't have alot of vacation left. I got my BFP on Feb 16th. 2 1/2 months from when I started taking Insulite. So hang in there.

I am just ending week 3 and the headaches have ended. I think they were really just the fluctuating hormones. Still no AF for me...but patiently waiting. What really excited me, I noticed this morning that I have had major hair growth (on my head - where I want it). I used to have this annoying part that went down the back of my head where my head had thinned - well that is pretty much all gone! And I checked on top of my head and tons of new hairs about an inch long...

"I" like cyster c have noticed that my hair has come back worse than I had while on the Insulite system. I ve only gained 7 pounds so far. I need to start exercising again though, because I think it will really help me maintain my weight.
I just found out that I have gestational diabetes, so I am a bit worried about that but, I'll just watch my diet really well. Take care everyone. Hope your all doing well.

Does anyone want it for $180? That's $38 off the price on the website, and I'll ship it for free. I'd rather help someone who's having difficulty paying for it get some rather than just sending it back.
I really, truly love this product and I think it's very helpful for those of us with IR.
I'm only sad that I can't take it while pregnant!
Let me know if you're interested!
If I'm not supposed to do this on here, someone please tell me and I'll take this post down! I just want to see the Insulite go to a good home!

I mostly suffer from upper lip and a couple big ones under my chin. My upper lip needs to be "buzzed off" every other day now!
Eeewwww
Oh well. It's worth it!

My Mood: Points: 1,921.72 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,921.72 | Just ordered my Insulite this morning! I'm very excited. I should get it by Thursday. I've responded really well to other herbal medicines, so I'm hoping this works for me...
Also, could anyone give me an idea of the diet and exercise plan so I can kind of prepare myself? Thanks!

| I think this is the greatest thing about the program. You're not expected to go "whole hog" at the very beginning. As with the diet, you're supposed to gradually move into your exercise program. You could begin with a 30 minute walk everyday, if that's where you are. I think this helps to ensure success overall, as it's not a huge shift in your lifestyle all at once. Instead, you make small changes over time. It's worked out great for me.
