Can you take Insulite while on Met? The Met has already regulated my cycles, brought my testosterone levels down and helped sustain my weight, but I am looking for something to help me lose more weight and I need something for more energy!

Default Insulite Update

Hi Ladies,

It's been one month since I've been on Insulite. I haven't tested my labs just yet but I have already noticed a difference in my cycles. My last cycle came with no cramps, no drama and hardly any PMS symptoms. I am also no longer experiencing less ovarian pain on my right ovary (my polycystic one). I am going to try another month and go in and get my labs done. I've already been doing the insulin resistance diet and exercising 4 times a week. so this might be helping as well. The ironic ting is tat my doc just got a new nutritionist. I was complaining about my metabolism and my doc said well our nutritionist is a believer in this new system called Insulite!!! I was so excited and told him I was on week 3. So I'll go in and see her this friday and let you know what she says about it.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference. I didn't stop taking it when I got my period. I think it actually helped me because I had way less cramping and bloat.

I just joined today and this is the first forum I have joined. I emailed a couple of people before I figured out that I could go to the bottom and post my questions? Sorry about that. Is anyone still taking the insulite? Did it help with weight or regulating your cycle? Does it help with insulin resistance? Hair loss? Craving carbs and sweets?

I haven't lost any weight yet, but I have only been taking it regularly for about 2 weeks. I think it does make me feel better. Good luck!

For those of you who have been taking the Insulite - what type of diet and excercise program do they recommend you follow?

Ok so it's been a week from today that i started my insulite...and it's help some i saw a big difference in pain on my side although i'm having them again but i did feel better after a few days and i didnt have much cramping with my cycle but i'm feeling like i'm getting a big cyst because of the pain but then again i've only been taking it for a week. It has helped my sleeping some i cant wait to see how this stuff really works after a month are so! hopefully it will get me out of the funky mood i've been in for so long. I'm going to try and stick with the IR diet but i need to really work at it. Also i've started back up at Curves

the diet basically allows you to ween yourself to a very low amount of carbs per day / not like atkins's but kinda like weight watchers and your exercise depends on the diet plan but basically 30 mins 3 times a week kinda like curves. I have done curvers before lost about 20 lbs and that was it for me I also tried weight watchers and atkins and lost a maybe 30 lbs so I am hoping if i throw insulite in to the mix i can be sucessful this time. I would love to lose weight but my biggest problem is the facial hair/ mine is really bad. But you have to get your weight under control before you can manage your pcos and all the many many symptoms that go along with it. sooooooo....here i go again!!!!!! Good luck hope you have great results!!!!! until the next time Laura

I just posted something elsewhere about Insulite labs stuff last night, not realizing this post was here. Whoops! Anywho, it has really worked for some people it looks like. I'm interested in trying it. I'm currently on Metformin 1000 mg. 2 x day. I just got diagnosed in March, so I guess I'm being a little impatient, but I've not had a period on my own for a very long time. I got off bcp in Dec. because my husband went to Iraq and I found that I had no period. This is month 8 of no period.
