HI EVERYONE!!!!

I haven't been on here in a while I did the INSULITE SYSTEM for about 4 months and I forgot to order on schedule so I would have been off for 2 weeks anyway so i decided to "take a break" and see what happened well may and june i still got a regular period but literally 30 days after my last day of pills I feel like crap again....Not even 1 ounce of motivation for life period forget the extra stuff...lol

I gained back 12 lbs of the 30 i lost and feel tired again all of the time...so i just ordered 1 month supply to get started and hope to lose another 30lbs so at least i will be down about 50 lbs and then go to OBGYN for further testing and possible AI...we will see...

Kelly...thanks for that tip i just got the email that said it expired 07/31 and missed the deadline so that is awesome also I hate taking pills also but i got 7 of those sunday to saturday pill cases and would set them up each week so it helped me not to have to remember every day and then i would just leave it on my desk...it gets better Good luck!!

Jenny...I agree about the money its worth it no matter what! Also I can relate to the chocolate making you nauseous...my addiction is to skittles and sour gummi worms...but when I was on this I had like 4 skittles and was like sick feeling....but now that i have been off of the pills I am right back to eating those things its crazy but i feel like i need it....Good luck to you also!!

Congratulations on the pregnancy amyjo23. I too found it hard to believe I had actually conceived after many years of trying unsuccessfully -- when I began using Insulite I was primarily focused on overall health improvement not TCC (recall my post in Jan 09 about my 10 months using Insulite prior to learning I was pregnant).

If its any encouragement to you or others I now have a beautiful 2 month old little girl, she is healthy and since I continued to be active and eat healthy (although more than pre-pregnancy Insulite days) throughout the pregnancy I was healthy too with no gestational diabetes or other problems.

Not sure if I'll resume Insulite or not later. Right now I can't because I'm nursing, but I am still trying to stay active and eat healthy/balanced meals. I'll be sure to update if I resume the program (or if my body shows enough regulation that I don't have too

Default Blog on Insulite among other treatments

I am writing a blog about my experience on Inuslite and using gluten free and glycemic load diets and exercise to control my PCOS successfully without met and birth control. I've had 2 AF so far and ever symptom that has plagued me for years is gone. This is no exaggeration. Everyone's body is different but I hope this blog helps anyone looking for more info. http://nomorezombie.blogspot.com/

I think whatever helps us is fabulous and worth the high cost. I do have some concerns with Insulite though and with other systems like it. For one thing, their site lists most of the ingredients in the pills but not the mg/mcg. I don't take anything that isn't clear about what it is and what dosage it is. Second, one of the ingredients is saw palmetto which you really shouldn't take if you're pregnant or TTC. Third, the following ingredients make me nervous:

Pancreatic Tissue - Contains specific amino acids in the correct proportions to supply growth, balance and repair factors of the pancreas.
Adrenal Tissue - Contains specific amino acids to supply growth, balance and repair factors of the adrenals.

Tissue? From what or whom? How do I know that's safe?

One of the things people typically mention is the price compared to buying the supplements individually and that you can take fewer pills this way. Up to this point I've only been taking Cinnamon but I'll be starting a whole slew of supplements on Nov. 1st. I had good success without the supplements (lost 54lbs in 1 year and many of my symptoms improved on a low-card diet and small meals 7 times a day) but want to make myself as healthy as possible. I added up the pills and their cost and found that I'll be taking about 16 pills a day at a cost of roughly $100 a month. That's including $53 a month for D-Chiro-Inositol and $3.25 a month for choline + inositol which is not in Insulite. On the Insulite system you're taking 18 pills a day at roughly the same cost and it doesn't include D-Chiro-Inositol or Choline + Inositol.

My point is that if this system works for you that's really fantastic and you shouldn't feel bad about taking it. But I have some reservations so it's not for me and that's ok to. Whatever works, works. Good luck to us all
