We are still researching and also saving for adoption. The first thing we did was go to
www.adoption.com and looked at domestic vs. international, looked up states around New England to see what agencies there were, read through their message boards, etc. Then we joined a local adoption support group and got lots of info on specific agencies as well as read personal experiences. Just looking at the requirements for each country has helped narrow it down. It feels like a big decision and there is an over-whelming amount of info out there.
At this point we have it narrowed to two agencies for international and an attorney for domestic. Once we get closer to having the money we will have to pick one but until then we will just keep reading and researching!
Best of luck!
