My husband and I are currently trying to start a family. We are totally open to the option of adopting. I already see a RE and he is recommending Ovarian Drilling. We will try this and a couple of other things. I do know that I will never do IVF. I would much rather spend part of that money trying to adopt. Where would be a good place to get beginner answers?
Thanks in advance!

I joined the local RESOLVE chapter and they had an informational seminar about adoption. My DH and I went and both found it extremely helpful in understanding what's out there, where to start and how it all works. I was SO overwhelmed by all of the information I was finding on my own and this seminar really helped bring everything "down to earth".

We are still researching and also saving for adoption. The first thing we did was go to www.adoption.com and looked at domestic vs. international, looked up states around New England to see what agencies there were, read through their message boards, etc. Then we joined a local adoption support group and got lots of info on specific agencies as well as read personal experiences. Just looking at the requirements for each country has helped narrow it down. It feels like a big decision and there is an over-whelming amount of info out there.
At this point we have it narrowed to two agencies for international and an attorney for domestic. Once we get closer to having the money we will have to pick one but until then we will just keep reading and researching!
Best of luck!
