Default Where are you sensitive during reflexology?

Ok, so I'm a massage student and today we learned reflexology. Of course then it was done on me. For those of you who've had reflexology done, you might know that the places where you are more sensitive during treatment (or just flat out painful) are the areas that you are likely to have blockages and dysfunction. For me, I noticed that every point that corresponded to an endocrine gland (pituitary, thyroid, pancreas, ovaries, adrenals) as well as the spot for my uterus was crazy painful. I'm wondering if that has something to do with having PCOS and/or having had a pituitary tumor.

For anyone who's had reflexology, where were you most sensitive and what points do those correspond to?

Oddly enough, the point for my fallopian tubes didn't hurt at all and in fact felt quite good.

Feel free to ask me about hyperprolactinemia though, just had my prolactinoma removed through brain surgery. Happier and healthier already...

I'm not a proffesional so I don't know much about reflexology. My husband started practicing it on me a couple months ago to help me relax before bed (I have PTSD and have a hard time relaxing enough to sleep) and to help manage pain. We just bought a book with a DVD from the bookstore. I've noticed I'm sore in the places that I know I have medical issuesl but it could be a placebo affect since I knew what each area correlated to before we started doing it. I'm open minded about alternative medicines and techniques like acupuncture, reflexology, chiropractic work, TCM, holistic meds etc but I'm also sceptical. Does the reflexology actually unblock me? I don't know, doubtful but who knows? All I know is I sleep better and have less pain and it isn't harming me so I'll keep at it.

This is very interesting. I also don't know much about reflexology but I noticed that I'm most sensitive in my legs, or my back. I don't know if it's something significant but I really can't tolerate the pain. I need to read more on this. Thank you for the info.
