Question Whey Protein?

Anyone here have this incorporated into their diet?
If so how do you implement it and what kinds of affects on your body/energy/weight has it had (if any)?

Thumbs up I love whey protein!!!

Marlena,

I personally love whey protein. When you are dieting...or in my case...eating way less than normal. It is easy to not get enough protein in your daily diet. Having some whey helps make sure that you are getting more than you would in that case.

After a workout....particularly if you have lifted weights that session having a whey protein shake is really good for your muscles. You've basically just made little tears in them and the protein helps them recover better.

I get a big container of Whey Protein from GNC. It comes in chocolate, strawberry and my favorite...vanilla. Put one scoop of whey protein in the blender with some milk, yogurt and a piece of fruit and you've got yourself a tasty treat!

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much Nash!
I want to try this out as I often skip meals and/or just don't get the protein in my diet that I need.
Some great suggestions therre...a shake I can deal with.
I just ordered the book on the IR Diet so I'm hoping to see this in the list somewhere in there.
