white stuff!!

I am sorry to gross anyone out, but I have been on Glucophage for 18 days now with no side effects at all!!! I am a thin cyster and am not IR and am ttc!! The only thing I have noticed is white mucousy discharge (so much so it fall in the toilet!!!) This happens about 4 times a day--I know I cannot be ovulating for 14 days straight--so what is it! I am calling my doctor tomorrow because i am getting really worried--anyone have this before? Do you think they are cysts popping! I haven't bothered to take an ovulation test as my LH is always high, they don't work on me!! I am getting really frustrated and depressed as this white stuff is just a reminder of how messed up i am ! please help thanks

I'm not sure but it could be yeast.

Hopefully someone else can come up with something else.

Hi,

I am new on this board, so if I am not doing something correctly, my apologies upfront! :-)

I too was taking Glucophage as treatment for my PCOS. I also had the white things come out of me (for lack of a better way to say it) I was so worried that I too went to my doc, and even took a sample. Yuck. Anyway, he told me that it was the Glucophage passed through my system. Each pill will put out the medicine and then continue through your system and come out like a whiteish pill shaped substance. Apparently it is nothing to worry about. But I agree that it isn't fun to be spotting unusal things in that kind of place. :-)

Thanks for your response! Yes, I had heard of that before, but this is pure mucous no doubt!! My doctor today asked if I was taking any herbs. I told him yes, chasteberry. He said it makes you produce more progesterone which can cause more mucous and to stop it! Wow--i hope i did not mess things up! Thanks anyways for your time! Good luck
