ok, I found this new drink and I like it so much I want to share:
Snapple White tea comes in flavors like green apple and rasberry. its natuarally decaf and 33% less sugar and calories than regular snapple iced tea. it has tons of antioxidents and it tastes sooo light and crisp! it has real sugar in it-no splenda or other"evil" stuff (IMO)

You should know though that White Tea does have caffiene. All true tea (as in from the tea plant camellia sinensis) has caffiene. White tea is the same plant as black tea and green tea but it is made from the newly formed buds. It does have less caffiene than either green or black teas, but it is caffienated.
I love love love white tea ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I think I need to have some now

snowbunny-I wonder why on the back of the snapple bottle it says "naturally decaffeinated"? I hate caffiene-it makes me feel crappy but this drink didn't.

I haven't had any measurable amount of caffeine since I had Owen. Even when pregnant I didn't have much. And since I'm still nursing, I don't want to have any now. I can't imagine what would happen to me after Owen weans and I have some. I'd probably bounce off the walls for days!

I don't know why it affects me the way it does. I am fine until about 2-3 hours after I drink it I get almost like a panic attack-jittery and my heart races etc. I just feel awful so I try to avoid it. Some things affect me more that others-I can handle a can of diet coke, but a medium iced coffee kills me.

Shhhh---the baby green tea leaves are sleeping
(it says that on the bottle lol)
I had one for the first time the other day, for me, it was just too blah.
Good antioxidants though, so it says...
snowbunny-I wonder why on the back of the snapple bottle it says "naturally decaffeinated"? I hate caffiene-it makes me feel crappy but this drink didn't.
Because if the caffiene doesn't measure up to a certain amount per serving it doesn't count as having caffiene even though it actually does have caffiene. The same goes with many "fat-free" foods. If the fat in the serving doesn't measure to a certain level it counts as "fat-free" even though it may very well have fat.
Anything coming from the tea plant has caffeine. White tea has significantly less than others, but it still has caffiene.
Also "decaffeinated" doesn't mean "caffeine-free." Decaffeinated products (i.e. coffee and tea) still contain minute amounts of caffeine.
FYI - This is what Snapple has to say about the caffeine:
Quote:
Snapple White Teas are actually naturally decaffeinated with less than 1mg of caffeine per 8oz serving. White teas are one of the lightest tasting teas because they are plucked early when they are still just little baby tea leaves.
