I started up my Metformin a month ago, and noticed a HUGE breakout of small whiteheads on my shoulders and upper arms. Anyone else, and what have you done to treat it?

I get red bumps on my upper arms... now that I started met, it seems worse. My arms are totally breaking out in zits. even down near my wrists. How embarassing! There is a lady at work that keeps pointing it out to me, like I don't already notice.

I have the breakouts down to my elbows.

How horrible that someone should point that out to you! I wish that others could understand what a major role hormones play in affecting our lives...
