Any doc can take the blood and send it off for tests, I think. Just ask.

My PCP ran blood work and sent me for a sonogram. My GYNO also checked me with my blood.

Your regular Dr can check it, when you have it done, I would ask for your TSH to be checked, and also your T3, T4, and TFree. I also had low temps too, as well as other symptoms, like tiredness ( I could sleep 12-14 hours and feel like I still hadn't slept), *****y all the time, cold, I could never get warm, my biggest thing was being so tired. Good Luck to you!!

You can go to your primary dr, they can order the tests. Depending on how comfortable your primary dr is they may discuss it with you. Or just send you to the RE. If you are having low temps consitantly you might also have WTS (wilson temp syndrome), where you temp runs a degree lower then normal. this means you are body is producing T3 but not using it.
