Question Who's going to win the premier league?

So the new football season is about to start, who are we all backing, who is going to win it?

Has the departure of Henry cost Arsenal the season, has Tottenham signed some great players that they are going to break into the top 4 this season, is Manchester Utd last seasons news?

This is one ecstatic kiwi who can't wait for the new season to start, I know there are all sorts of rivalries involved but from an overseas perspective GO ARSENAL!!!!

I voted for Man U even though they are not my team lol because I think they are on a good role at the moment and have the ability to keep it up.

I'm a (closet) Arsenal fan but don't believe the will be back up to their best again until later in the season or perhaps even next season....

Tottenham are also quietly there so who knows?

Yeah I get that feeling, a new Arsenal team will be great but I think they will need a bit of time to get a good team dynamic going. With Man U on a roll I'm not sure we will get there this season but my Motto is; always support your own team, because if everyone decided that they weren't going to win anything then who would be there to support them?

We shall soon tell how everything goes tomorrow! If u like u can place predictions for the upcoming games, so as predictable Arsenal v Fulham.... Arsenal

Yeah we won!!!! I'm a bit peeved at Sky cause we didn't get the match televised and I'm away next weekend when they are on!

Did anyone see that Bolton game, that poor guy that got stretchered off, that looked nasty!

How did everyone's fav team fare over the weekend?

We won 2-1 against Aston Villa which was good. I like watching Villa because I quite fancy the manager, Martin O'Neill Benitez looks a right prat with that beard.

Jeanette, that's a lovely cat you have in your siggy. He looks very much like my mum's cat who died this year aged 16

Sheepy - Cool, I saw him last night on the weekend review show, I agree he looks stupid!

Shellie - It doesn't matter how much you know about them, just that u support them

I know its a bit mean for that poor person, but I smirk that both Chelsea & Man U have key players pull up injured, maybe it'll give someone else like the smaller teams a chance of a win!

yeah Rooney's fractured foot is a big setback for Man U - and for England (not that they had a chance of doing anything anyway!)

Arsenal left it a bit late winnig didn't they - I almost felt a little sad for the other team because if it were the other way round I would have been doing my nut!!

Indeed they did, but of course as an Arsenal fan I think it was great! If it was against them though, yep I'd be ticked. I think a prime example of this was the Tottenham match (on the weekend) Sunderland snuck in & got one - personally I don't think they desreved it, should have been a draw.

And poor Tottenham lost again today, I just flipped on the TV for the last 3 mins of the game and caught the score! My Dad is going to be very disappointed - he's a spurs fan!

It's a bit sad for the national teams that the players like Rooney are out, I just care about the club comps, not big on the national sides

There were some good games yesterday - with lots ending in penalty shoot outs! I'm sad Totenham lost again - I thought they were going to do well this season...let's hope they get over their hiccups...

I'm not big on national games either I think moreso because we seem to have such a dissapointing team that I never expect them to do well...

Just on a side note, I think my 'home' team, Plymouth may be a silent runenr this year to be promoted...

well girls i'm quite hurt that Everton were not on your voting list! Since we are top of the league - possibly until the end of tonight!

You never know it counld be Man City who win the premiership - Erickson for England!

Nyk - good luck to Plymouth!

Cazz - I only put last years top 4 in for simplicity LOL, I'm sure your beloved Everton will do reasonably well for themselves but (no offence) lets face a bit of reality, its probably going to be Man U or Chelsea again this year (as much as I'd love it to be someone else), the other teams just don't have the strength to challenge them.

I think this will come, like Arsenal had a couple of good years until just recently. Maybe Everton will have their day in the sun one day in the future but I doubt its this year!

As for Mr Erikson, well lets just say its a wait & see he had a decent team to begin with. I don't agree with his strength as an England manager but maybe he will do better as a club manager
