Who was it that took Clomid even though Provera didn't work?

Please help me on this one. I got my referral to the RE, but my NP at the OB's office was ADAMANT that the ONLY time Clomid can be given is after menstruation and only on certain days.

I have to go back and research some of the articles Kat posted because I *know* I read that one study found giving it on CD 1-4 still resulted in pg.

I want to go with more information so we can get started on TTC more fully and with RESULTS.

prometrium didnt work for me!!! today is day 16 after last pill and NOTHING! im going to ask my dr on tuesday if i could take the clomid anyways...
i dont see why not.
isnt clomid suppose to make you ovulate. i think the only reason why they make you wait till AF is to make sure your not pregnant.

i dont want to have to start all over with the promertim again!

no they also need your uterus lining cleared out-it isnt just t make sure you are not pregnant. You cant get pregnant if your lining is too thick! HTH

i totally forgot to get back to this thread. so anyways i talked to my dr and he said that you can take clomid w/o AF. he told me if provera doesnt work for me to go ahead and take the clomid.
