Have been offtrack some time, but slowly getting back, now!
Just curious if anyone else goes down the wholefood route? I lost most of my weight doing things recommended in the PCOS diet book, bits from Rosemary Conley, Gillian McKeith and the Low GI plan, too - lots of organic and wholefoods. And although I hadn't reverted to eating total rubbish, a few naughty things had crept back in.
Anyway, behaving myself again now. Recently discovered a brilliant local healthfood shop and a wholefoods/organic supermarket in town and so we're shopping there and on the market, and walking between them all, rather than relying on Tescos etc.
Anyone else stripped it back to something simple like *Eat organic and wholefoods whenever possible and move about more*!!!???? And what's your favourite buys?

Unfortunately here in the States it's very expensive to eat organic and to eat healthy. It's another one of the many reasons I consider becoming and expatriate every day!
When we can afford it my husband and I enjoy shopping at Whole Foods, a large organic/health food grocery chain. We've noticed the meat has better color amd it's tastier. The fruits and veggies look better and have more flavor as well.
I believe that eating more natural foods does make a difference. Unfortunately it's just more expensive here for us and I end up buying more processed foods than we should.
Good luck!

i know what you mean! some whole foods here are wayyy expensive, too. But i was watching tv the other day, (as usual ha) and they had a nutritionist on who was saying that a tin of sadines would be the same health benefits as a really expensive fresh salmon.

This the route I'm on for the past 4mths. majority of my food are organic, wholegrain or wholewheat. I dont drink diary milk replaced with with rice milk or oats milk. The only thing i eat which is bad for me is white rice..because i hate the brown ones.wheat flour is nice and i love it.
i get mine from tesco but i rellay need more choices to see if i can save money as well as variety.
I noticed an abel and cole leaflet drop through my door the other day so Im going to check it out for my christmas food...i guess they got my eating habit from tesco because i mostly pay with my card otherwise i really havent got a clue why they should send me alone on my block of flat that organic leaflet. If you can afford it i say go for it..i saw improvements
