Default Whooo Hoooo, I get to try Lexapro

I went to the Dr. today and told him that although the depression was a bit better, but I was still having severe anxiety attacks. He said he didn't know where to go from here since he had tried me on 3 different drugs, none of which worked very well, or had bad side effects. He asked again why I quit the Celexa. I told him that I did feel a lot better, except it really, really made my tummy hurt. At that point I could see a "light bulb" moment and he said there was a new drug out called Lexapro. I was going to ask him about it anyway. THANKS JEN. He said it was a "cleaner, gentler" form of Celexa and he thought it might be just the thing. So, I start tonight. Yeah!! I'll keep all of you posted. Anyone else using it? I'm hoping it will help me sleep like the Celexa did and I will not keep having these stupid panic attacks.

Well, not much to report yet. I have been able to sleep, but Celexa did that too, at first. But I feel kinda groggy, too. Tummy hurt a little the first day, but not anymore. YEAH Umm, my brain was foggy this morning, I had trouble remembering the steps to a computer program that I was able to do without my cheat sheet all week. (new job) but, I do feel ok, not going to fall apart at least for the time being. No panic attacks and don't really even feel as though one is on the edge. You know, that feeling you get before they happen when you know it is going to happen, but not quite sure when or how bad. Did that ramble make sense? LOL Anyway it's only been a few days so I'll update you in a week or so.
