In my opinion, gyns like to give women bcps when they complain of abdominal pain. I don't know why exactly, but think it has something to do with bcp's can sometimes help w/ hormones. I went to a doc for over 5 years for my pains and she just kept switching my pills. But the pill never worked for relieving the pain. Hopefully since your RE appt. is close, you can get possibly some better advice. It's kinda weird that she would prescribe you birth control when you're ttc, unless it's to try to regulate you. They say that Yasmin is supposed to be the best for us pcos'ers. Hope everything works out!
