Hi cysters,
I'm just a little down tonight, I started my period today and it's decided to be kind of heavy this month. More cramps than usual, but at least no clots. Sorry, TMI, I know!
I'd just love to have a normal period without having to take something to make it that way, just once!
Sorry for the rant. Thanks as always for listening cysters.
Jenny

Hi Jenny,
Just sending a hug your way.
This time next week, AF will be a packing.
*This oughtta make you laugh: yesterday when I got in my car after therapy, AF was so heavy that my tampon, um, leaked, and it wasn't spotting, if you KWIM, all over my jeans, like I urinated my pants, so i hear ya about heavy AF's. I wonder if it was visible.....ewwww *embarrassing*
Jenny you poor babe! Lots of Love being sent to you! Never apologise for moaning about the damned periods we all do it and of course thats what we are here to do! Listen an moan along with you! Who knows maybe some day we will all have at least one normal natural period but you never know your luck cheer yourself up an relax and do something to please yourself with any luck it will soon go away an move on to its next host to annoy lol.
Surrendered my sympathy also goes out to you! Been there an done that, unfortunatly mine was at work and i made one of the nurses hysterical thinking i was dying or something lol in the end she felt so embarrassed and so did i but we gotta smile its a bit better for us than crying!
So worry not ladies an moan as much as you like we are women its our right to moan! xxxxx

Hugs to all of you...I know exactly what you are talking about Surrender and Jenny. AF is visiting me too...I am ready to evict her for good. I can't go anywhere when she is visiting because I bleed so heavy that I have to go to the bathroom once an hour..ew..sorry...I also was at work on time and a man noticed the blood on my pants...I didn't even know that I had leaked all over myself...ewewew..and of course it was a light colored pair of pants, so everyone saw it...The man is the one that told me about it..I about died of embarrassment. Thank goodness he was like a brother to me or I probably would have ran out of the room crying...I had to go home and change, it was everywhere...Gross...I am ready to evice AF for good..yuck!!!
I don't know what I am going to do..I am going on a week long trip with my kids school in a few months, and of course, it is suppose to be during AF visit...I don't know what I am going to do if it is one of those heavy days where I sit on the toilet all day long...I use the super plus tampons and that only lasts an hour before it starts leaking...I am going to speak with my endo about bcp's, but the last time I tried them, I had migranes...I may try them for a month just to reschedule AF..
Sorry for ranting and crying, but I too am sick of it..
Hugs to all of you...

I have always been on schedule but have ALWAYS had really heavy periods. They really are a pain. Maybe one day I will not have to use a Super Plus tampon WITH a pad for backup... A girl can dream.
I usually will use two pads with a tampon if i am going too heavy and need to go somewhere. I usuallu have to run the pads one in front of the other , since i am a big girl i need some towrds the back. I use the ultra thin one so it isnt noticable.
I remember when i was a teen getting out ot the back seat of a car and my bottom felt wet and here i had it all over.

Thanks so much cysters! You always make me feel better.
I'm still really heavy today, heavier than yesterday. I couldn't go to church because it was too heavy. So when my daughter took her nap I let the boys play their video games and I laid down on the couch. That's about the only thing I can do to lighten it at all.
When do you all call your doctor for heavy bleeding?
So depressing...
Here's what I do for pads on days like this (don't laugh OK?): I take a couple of my daughter's pull-ups, leave them folded like they come out of the package, and use them for pads. When I go out the tampon/pads combo works for awhile, as long as I don't get too far from the bathroom!
Thanks again for understanding and making me feel better.
Hugs
Jenny

Wow, the pullups idea actually sounds like a good one! I'm willing to try it! I am desperate.
I can sympathize about all that everyone has said about heavy AF.
I hate it! Here I am, almost 50 and still dealing with horrible heavy periods with cramps, clots and the works. I am running out of patience with living on Advil, wearing old granny panties in case of leaks, and living in the bathroom. Roll on menopause, I say!
(((((hugs))))),
Kathryn

Amen KlassicalKat..I hear ya!!! I am ready to evice AF permantly.
MommyJenny, I feel for ya and completely understand..I work outside the home and when I can't stay home, I stay close to the bathroom on those heavy AF days. I also carry a change of clothes so I don't have to run home ..But luckily this month, AF was on a weekend, so I sat on the couch and vegged out all day long...it was real nice not having to go anywhere or do anything..dh and kids were out of the house most of the weekend, so I had it all to myself..I could yell, scream, shout and cry as much as I wanted too..Not to mention watch the shows I wanted to watch without them taking the remote away...lol.lol...good luck ladies and lots of hugs coming your way...(((((hugs)))))

I'm lighter today. In fact spotted this morning, now it's picking up again and is very dark red this time. But for the first time this period I'm wearing the heavy duty super long overnight pads instead of pull-ups!
Thanks for understanding everyone. It's so much easier to get through all the things PCOS does to us when there's someone to listen and understand.
Hugs to all
Jenny
