I got AF the end of March after a failed Clomid cycle, and my RE started me on BCP to control my hormones before we try the next medicated cycle. I have been on the pill now for over 2 weeks and I have spotted for at least 1 of the weeks. Its dark brown (TMI) and enough so that I wear a pantiliner. Once this pack is done, I am supposed to start injectables. I have been afraid to call the RE about the spotting (oh and I am cramping everyday too) because I don't want there to be anything wrong and I don't want my cycle cancelled!
Any idea as to whats going on? Thanks!!

It could just be b/c you just started on bcps. Your hormones are not regulated yet, which can cause the spotting. The dark brown means it is older blood. I can't remember if I cramped when I first started on bcps, but that may also be a symptom. You could always call the pharmacists and tell them what is going on and ask if that is a side effect of the bcps if you don't want to call your doctor. Hope this helps. Keep us updated.
