Why wait until CD 35 for Provera? Hey everyone! I have a question concerning Provera. I just had an u/s yesterday which showed that my follies measured >10 and my uteral lining is not thickening. So, the clomid 100mg is not working. They instructed me to wait until CD 35, take a HPT, and then begin the 10 days of provera to induce AF. I asked why I have to wait until CD 35 and the nurse said it is just a precaution in case of pregnancy as there can be birth defects with provera.
I still don't understand though...If I don't O (monitor with OPK) can't I take the provera earlier so I don't have to wait sooooo long? Or is this a matter of messing up my hormones? I know they're the experts and I don't want to be difficult but...it's so long!
Any advice would be great!
