Has anyone had a problem with being on a progesterone and bcp and still not get their period? Does anyone know what could cause it not to work? I'm calling my doc on Monday, but if anyone has input I'd be very curious.
Well...the only thing that comes to mind is that you cimply have nothing in there to clean out. If you are not ovulating and your hormone levels are pretty whacked out, then it's very possible there simply is not any accumulated tissues and stuff to flush out.
I spoke with the medical assistant who spoke with my doctor... apparently I've gone from creating too much estrogen to not creating enough of it. I'm supposed to go on the yasmin and prometrium another month and then have an ultrasound.
Why wouldn't progesterone and bcp work?
