will i always have cysts coming and going?

ok so i was just diagnosed a month ago, my doctor started me on bcp right away so that i would start to ovulate and the cysts would go away. i was in alot of pain from the cyst and was even brought to the emergency room from it. so after a month of being on the pill i am starting to get pains again where my ovaries are. so my question is am i always going to get cysts??? i though that by staying on the pill i would ovulate and the cysts would stay away. am i wrong in thinking this way?

Cysts come and go in every woman, it is how the cycle is supposed to work. It is when the cysts don't go away like they should that there can be an issue. So, yes, you will always have a cycle of cysts, but every woman does.

in my case i will get cysts and after my period they are gone, they flush out with my period... i also have some pain mid month..... but being on the bcp makes me get a period every month to get rid of the cysts..
if not on the pill the cysts will just keep building and building up.
