Dr. MacTavish is great as well, Dr. Lee, MacTavish and Kredentser are the three from Heartland... I work with them as I work on a general surgery floor we have gyne patients all the time...

Hi, Im new to soulcysters and im glad i found it. I was diagnosed in jan this year and even though i asked for a referral to a gyno my gp wouldnt. So I called womens clinic a hsc a teaching hospital and i see dr.sett at the end of april. I cant go on birthcontrol because im bipolar and it really messes up my moods. so he told me to lose weight,im currently 5 4 and 137lb. Im suppose to research on treatments because he doesnt now what i can take if i cant take bc. I dont know. im trying to eat better on the gi diet but im have trouble finding recipies to follow. Anyway thank you ladies it gives me some hope. what else to you recommend.
I see Dr. Ludwig at St. Boniface hospital. I've been with her for about 5 years and she's great. I originally went to her for thyroid problems. I only recently talked to her about my infertility issues and she did tests right away and diagnosed me with PCOS. I haven't dealt with her much with that issue, so we'll see what she says on my next visit.
