I am wishing to adopt and have no idea where to really begin my research on this. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Any pointers?
Any questions for me, feel free to ask!

Here are a few to things to think about.. Do you want to do a domestic or international adoption? What ages do you want to adopt? If you choose international adoptions what are the requirements for each country?
I don't know to much about Canada, but do they have foster care and would you be willing to do foster to adopt, or just straight adoption?
I hope this helps out and good luck in your process.

Thanks Magoo!
I have a strong leaning towards domestic adoption. Ages I am looking at are between 5 and 10 years old. The older children tend to get pushed to the side and they need a loving home just as much as a young toddler or baby does.
I am wanting just straight adoption, however, I could also go for foster-to-adopt as well.
I know I am not quite together to begin the process now, I am in major research mode, I am hoping to be more prepared in about 6-8 months.
Is there any Canadian Cysters Adoptive Mommas around?
