I don't know I'm going to schedule it Monday but my 12 month surgiversary is 7/31 I'll probally schedule it a couple weeks after so I have a few extra days to lose weight. Plus I'm getting dental work done over the summer and I want to be done with that first soo I have a big open lip smile for my pic.

I forgot who asked about lap RNY. I had lap RNY. I had surgery on monday am and was released wed before noon. I was in pain only until thursday and I was back to normal activity. Running after a toddler, lifting him and doing house work.
I am down 11 since surgery. 27 total since Feb.

But I'm still spotting so we'll see how tomorrows lab goes. I'm up a few lbs...weighed in at the docs at 148 but I had my heavy shoes on too and those alone weigh 1.5 lb. So all in all I'm up about 1.5 lbs now from when I got prego.
Hi to everyone...I'd love to post more but gotta go lay down.

Gosh My sister and I talked this last weekend. From what I see in the group going thru the surgery where I am they have to go thru the GI prep for a day or two prior to the surgery (depending on which they have). Anyway, when I told her that she said I hate you! She had to be on a liquids only diet for 6 full weeks before her bypass. YUCK. it was a nasty smelling liquid too.
What kind of prep did you all do before? I know I have to loose I think it 's 5% of my weight which is like 15 pounds. Not bad... I've done that before. The hard part is keeping it off. That's nearly impossible for me. I don't even have my first appt set up (to see a dr or anything). I'm trying not to become discouraged.

Teri - The only prep I had to do was I could only have clear liquids the day before surgery and I also had to take a shot of castor oil which cleaned out my bowels.

My Mood: Points: 2,747.00 Bank: 30,139.13 Total Points: 32,886.13 | Tabitha - I think you did O; hopefully you get your BFP! I became obsessed with temping, etc. when I was TTCing for 4 years, so I think I am a pretty good judge of charts :-)
Teri - Hi from another Feb mommy! Good luck with getting ready for your surgery! I did not have to do a pre-op diet, which was nice. I only had to do bowel prep 1 day before surgery, and boy was it fun (not). I had to drink 1 bottle of oral Fleet at 2 pm and one at 8 pm. Be sure you have someone to help you with your kids when you do the bowel prep - you'll be spending a lot of time in the bathroom.
Kristy - hope youe bean is still doing OK . .. I know how bad bed rest stinks, I was on bed rest from 26 weeks on when I was pg, due to preterm labor. I was also basically on bed rest in the hospital this year with all my complications from surgery! Daytime TV gets wayyy boring. And I know it's so hard with a toddler who needs you, too. Hopefully things will be OK soon.
I have been in a weight stall for about 3 weeks now and I am getting frustrated. I know some of it is due to the ugly carb monster, so starting yesterday I am working on getting that under control. Getting my first period since surgery is what started me on this slipperly carb path. Darn PMS. My surgeon wants me down 100 lbs by my 6 months (July 2), so I have 33 lbs to lose in the next 2 months!!

I'm starting to obcess... I bought the wii fit for workouts, and I got a treadmill. Plus I walk alot during the summer with the twins. So I should be able to loose the required weight pretty quickly. Just have to get my official weigh in out of the way.

My Mood: Points: 17,870.03 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 17,870.03 | So ladies - I'm either an emotional wreck - or just really vain. I think I told you guys I had my hair chopped off on friday. A lot of it was falling out. I did some research and talked to my surgery coordinator who told me it was okay. But it was falling out for about three weeks... the top of my hair was fine not really thinning but the length of it (down to my waist) was getting thinner and thinner. I decided to just cut if off so it was all healthy rather than have a thick top and really thin bottom.
Anyways I didn't tell hubby I was getting it cut. He would have told me not to - and I knew I'd do it anyways I'd made up my mind, and then he would just be made I didn't do what he wanted.
Everyone who I've sent a picture to says I look incredible. My mother in law showed the picture to some of the extended family and a few didn't even know who I was. All they could say was "wow" when the realized it was me. Everyone who sees it, or sees me keeps saying how good I look, and pretty and stuff.
Everyone except my husband, who is the only one I want to say I at least look good. I know I'm far from beautiful, but it would be nice to hear something from my husband. I knew the hair thing was shocking, but all he will say when people tell him how good it looks is "no comment". He hasn't once said I was pretty or beautiful or anything like that. I figured after being gone for two months he would at least say something, and I got nothing.
I was in the bathroom crying a bit ago, because the only one I want to notice or care is the only one who wont say anything to make me feel good. It's not just the hair cut, its any compliment. It's so hard to feel pretty or think you might be when your husband doesn't make you feel that way. It's like everyone else is saying how good I look, and I just don't feel it, I think they are just saying it to say it. I just wish hubby would say SOMETHING, anything would be nice.
Sorry for rambling, I'm just a soppy crying mess right now.
