Hi all
I have to share my news with you all. I have finally been to see the most wonderful doctor and I have to share it with you all. I have after years of heartache on the NHS decided to go private. Expensive I know, there is a insurance route you can take, message me privately and I will explain.)
Anyway, his name is Prof Farid and he works at the London Endocrine Clinic, I got his details from diagnosemefirst.com.
This man and his team are angels! They run a PCOS clinic and I have never met a practioner with more knowledge, care and bigger heart.
He works with dieticans and mine has worked wonders, her name is Dalene Rottier. Diet, excerise and Metformin has made me loose 6kg so far and I have never felt better!
I have still to come off Dianette (Prof Farid says I will loose even more weight then) but so far so good.
I would urge anyone out there who is serious about getting better to give these guys a call.
I am not one of these dramatic airy fairy people, but these two people have changed my life.
I turned 30 last week and am fitter, healthier, slimmer and happier than when I was when I turned 25, even 20.
We have all spent so much money, time and emotions on the wrong people, doctors that do not take time to understand.
There is help out there- I have found it.
The help is spelled Prof Narid Farid. He is a Godsend
Thats just great news.. but unfortunetly my insurance doesn't cover fertility services at all.

Yay! I'm so thrilled to read this! I'm an expatriot American, who moved here about a year ago, and have been looking for a Doc that specializes in PCOS. I'd been told since I was 11, when I had my first period and hemmoraged that the only answer was a hysterectomy. To her credit, my GP here in England was horrified by this, and has been doing her best to get me some help. I live in Newcastle, but am more than willing to take that three hour train ride to London!
Thank you so much-this could really be the answer! I would love an email telling what the insurance option is!
XO!
Becky
