I have been going to Dr. Bello now for over a month, and she has been the only doctor that has been helpful in starting me on the proper treatment for PCOS. She is currently practicing in Odessa, Texas. That's only 30 minutes away from Midland (home of the president). And, its about 2 hours south of Lubbock.

I am so glad that you're going to see her. She's really great!!! In fact, I have a follow-up appointment with her in a couple of hours!

I know this is an old post, but I'm glad I found it. We have had two cancelled IVF cycles because of overstimulation due to PCOS and I am looking for a new RE in West Texas. I have an appt. with Dr. Bello next week and am glad to hear she knows all about PCOS because my previous RE didn't.

I've been seeing Dr. Bello for about 45 days and she is fabulous! She got me pregnant on my first cycle, unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage but it was the first time I had ovulated in 6.5 years!!! She is amazingly sensitive to those of us nearing desperation...If you call the answering service frantic...she actually calls you back promptly...I cannot express how much I believe in this woman...she is truly one of God's Angels
I have been seeing Dr. Bello for about the last two years. I've been a "bad" patient and didn't really work toward treating my PCOS/hypothyroid until about 4 months ago. I've actually started ovulating again!
Unfortunately, we also have MFI but we are going forward with our first IUI cycle. My follie progress scan is on 11/3 (Friday) and I'm nervous and excited.
I am hoping that Dr. Bello can help get me pregnant soon. If the IUI doesn't work, we might give it one more shot but then it will be on to IVF.

1500 Met XR (750mg 2x daily)
Prenatal Vitamin
75mcg Levothyroxin (Synthroid) for Hypothyroid
11/06 - IUI #1 Unmedicated (Busted due to thin lining and no follie development on CD11)
11/06 - IUI #1 MEDICATED (Jump starting period with norethindrone then starting Femara)
I know this is a realllly old post, but I have really wanted to see Dr Bello and see if SHE might take my PCOS seriously... but she doesn't take my insurance!! So I'm going to Dr Raja who's on 405 tom green. haha
Any more cysters (that are currently active on SC lol) from the odessa midland tx area? I would LOVE to know that I'm not alone in this area!!

Meds:L-Lysine, Nexium, Metformin, spiro, Melatonin, Saw Palmetto, YAZ (YAY! I can't wait to get my boobs back!! lol)
LADIES: Does it ever feel to you like if you took ALL of the pills that you have to take in ONE day AT ONE TIME, you would be SO FULL, that you could skip a whole meal and not feel hungry?
I have been away from West Texas for a long time now... But I sure wish I had Dr. Bello as my doctor again. Its so hard to find a good one - and since I left Odessa, I haven't had one. Its a shame there aren't more like her.
